Helix - platform lift for curved stairs 1. Helix makes your building barrier free. The Helix is a platform lift for use on most stairways. Helix is equipped as standard with manual platform fold-up, drive-up and drive-off flaps and barrier arms. The standard platform measures 100 cm x 80cm and has a carrying capacity of 225 kg. The rail, consisting of two tubes, is suitable for mounting directly onto the wall. Unlike rope driven units the Helix has no moving parts in the tubes so there are no trapping possibilities. Therefore the clean top rail can also be used as a handrail. The platform lift can be tailored to meet your specific needs thanks to numerous optional extras and can generally be installed within 2 days. 2.
